About Me
Hello
I'm Madeline Outlaw, and I'm so happy that you're here!
My
Story
I'm Madeline Outlaw, native of Georgia, lover of Birmingham. My husband and I live here with our son, Bo, and our dog, Bear. I love cooking complex meals, thrifting for vintage frames, and being outdoors. I'm so glad you're here and I look forward to getting to know you better.
My love of photography started with my first point and shoot camera many years ago. With the additon of my first "real" camera in college and a film class, I made photography a solid hobby for many years. I was formally trained as physical therapist and had a successful career working as a PT for several years. It's how my husband and I met, so I'll always be thankful for that career choice.
But my passion for photography grew until it became the obvious next step.

Two significant events have shaped the way I view photography. The passing of my mother and the birth of my son. Life is so fleeting and I want my children to look back, not overwhelmed by a digital files on a hard-drive, but by holding tangible printed photographs of our life, with photos that capture the big and the small moments. I am so thankful for every moment captured that holds the memory of such beautiful moments and hope to share that with others.

This life has heartache and struggle and it is my hope to bring light to the dark places. The beauty we create is simply a reflection of our Creator and His infinite beauty.
Soli Deo gloria.
