About Me

Hello
I'm Madeline Outlaw, and I'm so happy that you're here!
My
Story
Hi, I’m Madeline. I grew up in Georgia and now live in Birmingham, Alabama with my husband, our two little boys, and our dog, Bear. Some of my favorite things include cooking and baking, spending time in the kitchen with my boys, moving my body, being outdoors, browsing Facebook Marketplace, trying new hobbies, and most importantly, making memories with my family. I’m so glad you’re here, and I look forward to getting to know you better.
My love for photography began years ago with my very first point-and-shoot camera. In college, I got my first “real” camera and took a film photography class, which turned photography from a simple interest into a meaningful creative outlet. Before pursuing photography professionally, I was formally trained as a physical therapist and spent several years working as a PT. It’s also how my husband and I met, so that season of life will always hold a special place in my heart.
Over time, though, photography became more than a hobby — it became the obvious next step.
Two significant events deeply shaped the way I view photography: the passing of my mother and the birth of my sons. Those experiences reminded me just how fleeting life can be and how meaningful photographs truly are. My hope is that my children will one day look back not at thousands of forgotten digital files, but at tangible printed photographs that tell the story of our lives — the big milestones and the quiet, ordinary moments in between.
I am endlessly grateful for the memories photographs preserve, and it is an honor to help others preserve theirs as well.
Life holds both beauty and heartbreak, joy and struggle. It is my hope to bring light into the hard places and create imagery that reflects beauty, connection, and truth. I believe the beauty we create is simply a reflection of our Creator and His infinite beauty.
Soli Deo Gloria.
